Brent E. Hall was born in Memphis, Tennessee. He joined the IBEW
in 1984 and began his union involvement as a local officer with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW), after becoming an Apprentice Lineman. He was a Journeyman Lineman/ Working Foreman with Memphis Light Gas and Water Division (MLGW) in Memphis, Tennessee for 18 years. He served IBEW Local 1288 as an Executive Board officer, Assistant Business Manager, and last as President of Local 1288, representing 2600 employees at MLGW.
He served on numerous union-management committees dealing with Apprenticeship, Safety, Insurance, Quality Circles, United Way, and Special Olympics. He was appointed as IBEW International Representative for the Tenth District in 2002. His duties include contract negotiations, organizing, and local union administration for eight IBEW local unions in Middle and East Tennessee. He lives in Lebanon, Tennessee with his wife Teresa of 25 years and has two children, Collin, 22 and Chloe, 18.
